Tomorrow is Good Friday. While I understand why we call it “good,” I also recognize that it’s only good when we view it through the lens of the bigger picture, the whole story, the redemptive ending. For those who witnessed Jesus’ suffering and subsequent crucifixion, it was anything but good. Friday was devastating, and the sorrow of Saturday only deepened as the stark reality sank in and hopeless despair continued to rise.
Even though I know the full story, there are days when I find myself burdened by the weight of living in a fallen world. My desire is to trust God and cling to the hope that “Sunday is on the way,” yet the pain and discouragement of my current circumstances can be hard to shake
The good news is that God’s grace is sufficient — even when I doubt, feel overwhelmed, and long for relief more than anything else. The same Power that raised Jesus from the grave lives in me and will carry me through, especially on days when I feel exceedingly weak. So, if you are having a rough week, month, or even year, know that you are not alone. There is a bigger picture with a victorious ending. The God of all grace — the One who resurrected our Lord and Savior — is with you!
— Ephesians 1:19-20 (NLT)
I invite you to join us in prayer as we step into a new and promising opportunity. The launch of our High-Intensity Outpatient Program (HIOP) marks a significant step forward in reaching men struggling with substance use and/or sexual addiction. HIOP bridges the gap between outpatient and residential treatment, making our Christ-centered, clinically effective care more accessible than ever. We are now accepting applications for this 12-week program. Click here to learn more and begin the application process.
We also invite your prayerful consideration as we work to expand our community of monthly HopeBuilders — faithful partners who join us in supporting men and their families on the path to lasting freedom. These monthly givers are instrumental in sustaining the work we do each day, making it possible to provide consistent, Christ-centered care to those facing their darkest moments. Thank you for walking alongside us as we support those impacted by addiction. This Easter, may the same Power that raised Jesus from the grave bring hope and freedom to all of us.
Eternally grateful,
