“Absolutely incredible!” “A stunning evening!” “We rediscovered hope!” These are just a few of the comments we have received since Celebrating Freedom 2025 earlier this month. The theme, I Found Hope, was felt throughout the evening as we heard stories of lives, marriages, and churches impacted by the ministry of HopeQuest. With worship led by Adam Kersh and a powerful message from John Lynch, we celebrated all that God has done this year.
The evening ended with a reminder:
Hope doesn’t just happen. It’s built.
On November 6, we launched our year-end giving campaign, Building Hope 2025. Through this initiative, we invite our community to strengthen the foundation of our mission so that more men and families seeking freedom from addiction can experience the care, support, and healing they need.
At HopeQuest, we serve individuals and families with compassion, regardless of their financial situation. As scholarship funds run low, your support through Building Hope 2025 helps remove financial barriers for those who may not otherwise have access to care.
I am writing this letter from our family property in Texas, where I grew up hunting, fencing, and working alongside my dad to build a small cabin. Clearing brush around the oak trees has always brought a sense of accomplishment, but I eventually learned that cutting what is visible only brings temporary results. Real change begins beneath the surface. That lesson influenced my own recovery journey and now shapes the work we do each day at HopeQuest, where we address the root causes of addiction rather than just the symptoms.
As Giving Tuesday approaches on December 2, I invite you to join the Building Hope 2025 movement and share it with friends, family, and your church community.
During this season of Thanksgiving, please know how grateful we are for you. Your prayers, generosity, and partnership are a gift to this ministry and to the lives being changed every day.
Grateful…
