Message from Troy

Dear Friend,

Last month I promised you big news, and I am thrilled to finally reveal it! In 2004, God inspired a name and a logo that have served us well. In many ways, we don’t need to change anything. Yet as an organization, we are committed to growing, improving, and becoming even more effective in the ways we serve.

So today, we are introducing a refreshed logo that honors more than 20 years of history while staying deeply rooted in our mission.

It’s a new look with the same solid foundation.

For over two decades, we have walked alongside men and their families as they navigate the devastation caused by addiction, which seeks to destroy all hope. Many believers have experienced new life in Christ but remain bound in grave clothes, still searching for freedom. Addiction keeps them trapped in patterns of self-protection and burdened by the wounds of past trauma.

The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go."

– John 11:44 (NIV)

Doug’s recovery journey, like many of our clients, began at HopeQuest. By the time Doug came to us, he had made repeated attempts to break free and confessed, “I’ve lost all hope. I’m just not sure if I can change.” Today, seven years later, Doug is living in the abundant freedom that only Christ can provide. Praise God!

When the pain of our past becomes too much to bear, anxiety and fear about the future can leave us paralyzed. The road ahead feels uncertain, and hope seems like a distant memory.

Oh, friend. There is a Solution! Jesus is the journey. He is the One who leads us to real hope and lasting freedom.

Our History

The creation of HopeQuest’s name and logo reflects its core mission: To help men and their families impacted by addiction experience God’s plan for freedom and hope. The word Hope speaks to the reality that, while addiction often leaves people feeling lost, restoration begins by reclaiming the hope we have in Christ. The word Quest represents the lifelong journey to which God calls each of us – a path of growth, change, and healing rather than a one-time event. To illustrate this vision, the original logo incorporated a compass to symbolize guidance and direction toward freedom. At the heart of the compass is the Cross, representing Christ at the center of HopeQuest’s ministry.

Our Future

Our updated HopeQuest logo preserves the heart of our identity while giving it a refreshed, modern look. The compass remains central to signify guidance and direction on the continual journey toward freedom. At its core, the Cross reflects our Christ-centered foundation, reminding us that true transformation begins with and through Him. The introduction of new, vibrant colors brings a sense of renewal. Combined with clean, bold typography, the updated design communicates momentum and clarity while staying true to who we are.

HopeQuest exists to illuminate the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). From the start of our journey to this moment and beyond, we remain steadfast in our purpose to point people to Jesus.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

– Romans 15:13 (NIV)
